  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a spinal cord injury (any location in the spine) and it happened recently.
  • You are not currently taking seizure medicines (anticonvulsants).
  • You do not already have nerve-type pain (neuropathic pain).
  • You have never had an allergic reaction to calcitonin before.
