Who can take part

  • You’re an adult age 18 to 80 with nerve pain in your back and/or lower legs lasting over 3 months after lumbar surgery
  • Your pain is fairly strong (pain score over 3/10) and it causes major disability (ODI over 40/100)
  • At least 3 months have passed while trying standard treatments that didn’t control your pain well
  • You have not previously had a spinal cord stimulation device implanted or tested
  • You’re able to take part in the procedures and follow study visits and outcome checks
  • You do not have pregnancy, major infection, bleeding problems, spine instability, or other specific conditions that block this treatment
