Who can take part

  • You have had spinal cord injury for more than 1 year and your symptoms are stable
  • A study doctor can medically clear you to take part
  • You can stand for at least 3 minutes, with or without an assistive device
  • Your pain or spasticity medications will stay the same for at least 3 months
  • If you have nerve pain, it must involve your lower legs
  • You do not have complete loss of feeling in the skin around your foot
