- You are assigned female and are between ages 12 and 35
- You have PCOS with infrequent or absent periods (or no periods after starting menstruation) and blood or physical signs of high androgen levels
- You have low activity (less than 2 hours per week of moderate exercise)
- Your weight fits the study ranges for your age, and your weight has stayed within about 5 kg for the last 3 months
- You can use reliable non-hormonal birth control during the study (like a copper IUD) and avoid pregnancy
