Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 60 years old
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 30 or higher (BMI is a measure of weight relative to height)
- You have tried to lose weight through diet or exercise in the past and it didn't work
- You have not lost more than 5% of your body weight in the last 3 months
- You do not have diabetes, and you have not taken diabetes medications in the last 3 months
- You do not currently take certain other medicines like steroids, antibiotics, or weight loss drugs
