Who can take part
- You have colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver and your doctors have recommended two surgeries to remove tumors
- Your liver tumors are visible on CT scans and can be completely covered by the radiation seeds
- You are at least 18 years old and able to tolerate the procedure (fairly good overall health, expected to live at least 12 weeks)
- Your blood counts, liver function, and kidney function are adequate (checked by recent blood tests)
- You are not pregnant and agree to use birth control during and for 3 months after treatment
- You have not had major surgery in the past 4 weeks and do not have active serious infections or heart problems
