Digital coaching program for severe asthma control

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a confirmed asthma diagnosis based on guideline tests (like breathing test reversibility, FeNO, or a provocation test).
  • Your asthma is considered severe and hard to control, and your care team says you are eligible for a specific asthma biologic (omalizumab, mepolizumab, benralizumab, reslizumab, or dupilumab).
  • If you were previously on an asthma biologic, it must be stopped for at least 4 times that medicine’s “half-life.”
  • Your asthma has been relatively stable for at least 4 weeks (no recent flare-up and no recent respiratory infection).
  • You can and will use a smartphone for remote monitoring and coaching, and you can read and understand Dutch; you also need to be able to do physical activity.
