EEG-MRI test of methylphenidate in adult attention symptoms

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old
  • You have the ability to understand the study and sign consent
  • If you can become pregnant, you must use effective birth control and have a negative pregnancy test before MRI, and agree not to get pregnant during the study
  • You can safely take part in MRI and EEG (no non-removable metal/implants/pacemaker/unsafe devices)
  • You do not have medical conditions that make methylphenidate unsafe (for example certain heart or blood vessel problems, glaucoma, or uncontrolled thyroid overactivity)
  • You do not have certain mental health conditions that could affect safety (for example psychosis, severe untreated mood instability, or past severe bipolar episodes)
