Who can take part

  • You are White Brazilian and of European descent
  • A doctor has diagnosed you with ADHD based on DSM-IV criteria
  • You are able to take immediate-release methylphenidate (IR-MPH) right away
  • You do NOT have a medical reason you can’t safely take IR-MPH
  • You are NOT currently taking stimulant medicines
  • You do NOT have certain brain/nerve conditions or a history of psychosis
  • Your IQ score is 70 or higher
