Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old
  • You have a diagnosis of schizophrenia
  • Your psychiatrist needs to change your antipsychotic medicine because symptoms, side effects, or taking the medicine is not going well
  • You will be prescribed at least one of these: aripiprazole, olanzapine, paliperidone, quetiapine, risperidone, or amisulpride
  • If you can become pregnant, you agree to use very effective birth control during the study
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding
