Who can take part

  • You are currently getting repeat steroid joint injections for chronic spinal pain at the St. Joseph’s Health Centre Pain Clinic in London, Ontario
  • In the week before your last steroid injection, your spinal pain was at least 4 out of 10
  • You received at least 2 steroid joint injections in the past 12 months on a regular schedule
  • Your pain/other medications have been the same for at least 3 months
  • You can read, understand, speak English, and give consent for the study
