  • You are between 40 and 75 years old
  • You do not have an immune system problem (immune deficiency)
  • You do not have a known lung disease
  • You do not currently have cancer or an active infection
  • A bronchoscopy is medically safe for you (no major safety reasons to avoid it)
  • You do not have serious heart rhythm problems, known/suspected high brain pressure, need one-lung ventilation, or severe bleeding/clotting problems
