- You are 40 to 75 years old.
- You have a smoking history of at least 20 pack-years.

- Your breathing test shows no airflow blockage (FEV1/FVC is 0.7 or higher).
- You can do the study exercise (walk briskly, run on a treadmill, or pedal).
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
