- Your child has been diagnosed with biliary atresia at Children’s Hospital of Fudan University
- There is a record of follow-up for your child about 1 year after surgery
- There are lab results for total bilirubin (a liver-related blood test) about 3 months after surgery
- A stored pre-surgery blood sample is available and has enough volume (more than 500 microliters)
