Who can take part
- You have prostate cancer confirmed by biopsy as adenocarcinoma (a common prostate cancer type).
- Your prostate cancer is “unfavorable intermediate-risk” or “high-risk,” based on your scan and biopsy results (like PSA level, Gleason score, or tumor stage).
- You had a prostate MRI done on a 3-Tesla scanner within the last 12 months.
- Your health and daily functioning are good enough (ECOG 0 to 2).
- You must be planning androgen deprivation therapy (hormone therapy): up to 6 months for unfavorable intermediate-risk, or up to 24 months for high-risk (with triptorelin, with or without bicalutamide).
- Before starting, tests must be completed to confirm the cancer is localized and appropriate for this study.
