Who can take part
- You are an astronaut or test personnel doing motion-triggering activities (like simulations or parabolic flights)
- You do not have neurologic, inner-ear (vestibular), or nervous-system (autonomic) disorders
- You do not have conditions scopolamine could worsen, such as narrow-angle glaucoma or trouble urinating
- You are able to confirm you’re not infected with COVID-19 (test within 7 days) or you have no COVID symptoms for the past 10 days
- You are not taking certain medicines that affect the brain, like antihistamines, tricyclic antidepressants, or muscle relaxants; and you have no known allergy to scopolamine or related ingredients
- You are not pregnant, and if you can become pregnant you must pass a pregnancy test
