Who can take part
- You are between 60 and 80 years old
- You have been taking blood pressure medicine for more than 2 weeks
- Your home blood pressure averages at least 135/85 during a 7-day check
- You can do home blood pressure measurements for at least 3 days (morning and evening) and have valid readings
- Your clinic (doctor office) blood pressure is not very high (below 180/110)
- You do not have certain other causes of high blood pressure or major recent heart/brain events
