Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old
- You have high blood pressure that is not controlled (systolic ≥140 or diastolic ≥90) and you are either newly diagnosed or only taking one blood pressure medicine
- Your arm size fits the standard blood pressure cuff (between 17 cm and 42 cm around)
- You do not have known kidney failure, liver damage, or a recent heart attack or stroke (within the last 3 months)
- You are willing to sign a consent form to participate
