Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have high blood pressure that is not controlled, and you are either newly diagnosed or already taking one blood pressure medication.
- Your blood pressure is 140/90 or higher.
- You do not have very severe kidney disease or need dialysis.
- You have not had a heart attack, stroke, or other heart-related emergency in the last 3 months.
- You are able and willing to sign a consent form to join the study.
