Who can take part

  • Live in a community that is participating in the study
  • Be age 60 or older
  • Have screening results that fit dementia (not just mild memory changes)
  • Have pain at the time of joining (for example, pain that happens occasionally, frequently, or almost constantly in the last 5 days, or staff/provider records, or current pain treatment)
  • Not be in short-term rehab or similar short-stay care
  • Not be receiving hospice care
