Lithotripsy to open blocked, calcified artery for TAVR

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 90 years old when you sign consent
  • You have severe narrowing and heavy calcium in the iliac/femoral arteries that usually may block safe access
  • You have severe aortic stenosis and are planning to get TAVR
  • A CT scan of your abdomen and pelvis shows your iliac arteries are too diseased for standard access but still makes you a candidate for this approach
  • You can sign written informed consent
