Who can take part
- You are over 18 years old.
- You can understand the study and sign informed consent before the planned scan/procedure.
- You have known coronary artery disease, such as a past heart attack, stent, or bypass, or prior angiography/CT showing plaque.
- You are scheduled to get a clinically needed 15O-water heart PET/CT for symptoms like chest discomfort or shortness of breath (as a possible angina equivalent).
- For the randomized part: your initial PET/CT must show abnormal reduced heart blood flow across multiple heart areas (details checked by the study team).
- Doctors have decided you may need an invasive coronary angiography after a team review (nuclear medicine and cardiology).
