7T brain scan study for teens at risk of psychosis

Patients With Ultra High Risk of Psychotic Transition

Who can take part

  • Be age 15 to 25, at enrollment
  • If in the at-risk group: meet specific assessment scores for “at risk” mental state and daily functioning
  • You must be able to have a 7T MRI scan safely (no major metal/pregnancy/contrast/claustrophobia issues)
  • You (and a legal representative if needed) must sign free, written consent before any study procedures
  • If in the at-risk group: you should not already be in full psychosis, and you typically should not start or change antipsychotic medicine within the last month
