  • You are at least 3 years old.
  • You have spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) and need treatment with Spinraza.
  • Spinal taps (lumbar punctures) are hard for you—either because of breathing problems, other health issues, or your doctor believes a special catheter would help.
  • You can have surgery to put the port and catheter under your skin.
  • You agree to complete all study visits and procedures.
