- You are pregnant and age 18 or older
- You have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes (GDM)
- You plan to give birth at Oslo University Hospital, Ullevål
- For the comparison group, you would be matched by pregnancy week and have normal blood sugar and normal blood pressure
- You can understand Norwegian or English well enough to follow the study
- You are not under legal guardianship
