Who can take part
- You’ve had a stroke affecting the brain (cerebral stroke) and you are 20 years or older
- Your ankle muscle tightness (plantar flexor spasticity) is more than mild, based on the Modified Ashworth scale
- Your general health and vital signs are stable enough for study visits
- You have not had a repeat stroke, a traumatic brain injury, a brain tumor, or another brain condition
- You have not received shockwave or botulinum (Botox-type) injections for ankle tightness in the last 3 months
