Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You had a stroke (either ischemic or hemorrhagic) at least 3 months ago
  • You have stiffness in your lower leg or foot muscles that limits movement
  • You can walk on your own, with or without a cane, walker, or other aid
  • You have not received botulinum toxin (Botox) injections in your affected leg in the last 3 months
  • You do not have severe heart, lung, or other medical conditions that would make exercise unsafe
