Who can take part
- Your child is between 2 and 12 years old
- Your child has epilepsy and has been taking sodium valproate for at least 6 months
- Your child still has ongoing seizures (not complete seizure freedom)
- Your child does not have other neurological disorders besides epilepsy
- Your child has no allergy to lamotrigine (LTG) and does not have liver or kidney problems
- Your child can cooperate with study visits and study procedures
