Lutetium brain-sparing therapy for advanced gut and pancreas tumors

Advanced Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor

Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 75 years old and can legally give informed consent.
  • Your cancer is a low- or medium-grade gastrointestinal/pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (G1 or G2) confirmed by tissue biopsy.
  • Your overall health allows you to do normal daily activities (ECOG 0–1).
  • Your tumor is locally advanced and cannot be removed by surgery or has spread to other parts of the body.
  • You do not have known brain (CNS) metastases, or if you were treated for brain metastases before, scans must be stable for at least 24 weeks and you must have no symptoms.
  • Your heart condition and blood sugar are well controlled, and you do not have severe urinary problems (like severe incontinence, fluid buildup in the kidney, major difficulty urinating, or a long-term urinary catheter).
