Who can take part

  • You are over 18 years old and have a spinal cord stimulator (SCS) implanted for chronic pain
  • You can understand the study and agree to participate, and you can follow instructions during visits
  • Your spinal cord stimulator has been working in a continuous, “tingle-free” mode for at least 6 months
  • Your worst pain (where the SCS helps most) is 7 or less out of 10 when you enroll
  • You are not using any other “neuromodulation” devices or treatments
  • Your pain medicines have not changed in the past 30 days
