RF treatment of the duodenum for type 2 diabetes control

Who can take part

  • You are age 18–65, and you are a man or a woman who is not pregnant.
  • You have type 2 diabetes for at least 3 years but no more than 10 years.
  • Your average blood sugar (HbA1c) is between 7.5% and 10%.
  • Your body weight is within a BMI range of 24 to 40.
  • You take at least one stable diabetes pill (tablet) and haven’t changed diabetes medicine in the last 3 months.
  • You can agree to start an additional diabetes medicine (for example, liraglutide) if the study team thinks your sugar stays too high.
