Who can take part
- Are you age 65 or older if you have heart failure—or age 18 to 75 if you have stable type 2 diabetes
- If you have heart failure: you must have confirmed HFpEF (EF >50%) or confirmed HFrEF (EF <40%)
- Have you been medically stable for at least 3 months with no hospital admissions related to heart failure?
- Are you able to give written consent to join?
- You must be able to do a 6-minute walking test and be able to do MRI scans if needed
- If you have diabetes: you should have stable type 2 diabetes and avoid the listed heart/heart-rhythm and MRI restrictions
