Who can take part
- You are 18–60 years old.
- You had a high-energy injury to the upper leg (for example certain tibia/fibula fractures, knee injuries, gunshot or severe crushing).
- You can be enrolled soon: within 14 hours of injury, or before urgent surgery (internal or external fixation) within 48 hours of admission.
- You (or your legal representative) can sign informed consent.
- You are not already diagnosed with acute compartment syndrome or told you need immediate emergency decompression (fasciotomy).
