Who can take part
- You are a teen aged 13 to 17 and live in the U.S.
- Your teen has used alcohol, marijuana, or another drug at least once a month in the past 90 days.
- You (the parent or guardian) live with the teen at least five days a week.
- You both speak fluent English.
- Both of you must own and regularly use a smartphone (Android or iPhone) with a data plan.
- The parent or guardian is willing to get and send text messages from the study team a few times each week.
