Who can take part
- Be age 21 or older
- Have new chest pain symptoms being checked for possible acute coronary syndrome (ACS)
- Be “moderate risk” based on a Heart Score of 4–6
- ECG (heart tracing) should not show signs of ischemia or serious ST changes
- Have two blood troponin tests that are both below the lab’s sex-specific upper limit and show no big change
