Who can take part

  • You are a parent or guardian aged 25–60 who mainly cares for the teen with scoliosis
  • You live with the teen (ages 10–17) most of the time
  • You have at least mild anxiety or mild depressive symptoms on screening questionnaires
  • The teen has adolescent idiopathic scoliosis diagnosed by an orthopedist (curve measurement above 10 degrees)
  • The teen is not having immediate surgery (either conservative care or surgery planned more than 6 months later)
  • You both can read Chinese, live in Hong Kong, and can be contacted by phone/email and use the internet
