Who can take part
- Be 18 years old or older
- Be expected to stay in the intensive care unit for at least 1 week
- Have no major trauma to the head or neck or thigh (femur)
- Do not have a primary neuromuscular disease (a main nerve/muscle disease causing weakness)
- Be able to get ultrasound images of the planned body areas (no limitations like severe positioning issues)
