Sauna heat treatment for long COVID fatigue

This trial tests whether regular sauna sessions using infrared heat can reduce fatigue from long COVID. You may be eligible if you have ongoing fatigue after a confirmed or strongly suspected COVID infection and can safely spend time lying in a sauna.

Who can take part

  • Age 18 to 65
  • Can read/speak English and sign consent
  • Can lie flat on your back in the sauna for 2 hours per session
  • Had COVID infection at least 12 weeks ago (positive test) or a clinician agrees it looks like long COVID after COVID
  • Have enough long-COVID fatigue on a screening questionnaire (PROMIS fatigue score 21+)
  • Use reliable birth control if you could become pregnant
