Who can take part

  • Be an adult (18+) with a confirmed diagnosis of aHUS, and other similar kidney conditions have been ruled out
  • Have been taking anti-C5 antibody treatment on the usual recommended schedule for at least 3 months before screening
  • Show signs of response during screening, including normal-ish platelets and stable kidney function over the screening period
  • Be willing to get required meningitis/pneumonia vaccines before starting iptacopan
  • Not have had a relapse of aHUS while on anti-C5 treatment
