Lutetium prostate cancer treatment for limited PSMA-spread

Oligometastatic Prostate Cancer (OMPC)

This Phase 3 trial compares a targeted radiation medicine called lutetium (177Lu) vipivotide tetraxetan versus watchful waiting in people with prostate cancer that has spread to only a few spots. The goal is to see if the treatment can better control the cancer when scans show a small amount of PSMA-positive metastases.

Who can take part

  • You have had prostate cancer confirmed by biopsy/pathology before joining the trial
  • Your prostate cancer must come back based on PSA blood tests after prior definitive local treatment (surgery and/or radiation)
  • Your PSMA PET/CT scan shows 1–5 PSMA-positive metastatic spots, and at least one must be in distant sites (not just nearby/adjacent)
  • Your scan must show a negative result for certain distant disease findings on a second imaging check (CI must be negative for M1)
  • All cancer spots found at screening must be suitable for stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT)
  • Your testosterone level must be above 100 ng/dL (not chemically suppressed) at screening
