Who can take part

  • You are 45 years old or older and had an ischemic stroke
  • Your stroke cause must fit the study’s stroke classification (TOAST) and not be unknown
  • At discharge, your disability score (Modified Rankin Scale) is 0, 1, 2, or 3
  • You can understand and communicate in Turkish, and you have no major communication barriers
  • You must be able to participate by phone/video and answer questions in a physically and mentally safe way
  • You need a working contact phone and someone who can help you if needed (a first-degree relative)
