Who can take part

  • You had a first stroke (either ischemic or hemorrhagic) confirmed by a brain scan.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your stroke happened between 3 months and 2 years ago.
  • You are able to stand up, walk a short distance, turn around, and sit down again (Timed Up and Go Test).
  • You do not have serious memory or thinking problems that would make it hard to follow instructions.
  • You are willing to sign a consent form.
