Who can take part
- You are over 18 years old
- You can start the study medicine within 24 hours after your cardiac catheter procedure
- Your heart scan (angiography or echocardiogram) shows heart-wall movement changes typical of Takotsubo syndrome
- Your InterTAK or GEIST heart-risk score is 9 or higher
- You can give written informed consent
- You do not have major exclusions like certain heart artery blockages or recent severe infections
