Who can take part
- Be between 10.5 and 13 years old and still in mixed dentition (some baby teeth and some permanent teeth).
- Have a Class II jaw relationship with measurements showing the lower jaw is set back (for example, ANB is high, SNB is low).
- Have normal upper jaw position (not a situation where the upper jaw is too far forward).
- Have no previous orthodontic treatment.
- Be willing to wear a removable orthodontic device as part of the study.
