3D-printed vs. traditional twin block braces for kids

Who can take part

  • Your child should have a Class II Division 1 bite (upper front teeth stick out) with an overjet of 7 mm or more.
  • Girls must be 10–12 years old, and boys 12–14 years old.
  • All permanent front teeth and back molars must have come in.
  • Your child must have some tooth decay or gum problems that need monitoring (ICDAS 3+ or BPE 3+).
  • You or your child must understand English or Bahasa Melayu.
  • Your child cannot have: a craniofacial syndrome, prior orthodontic treatment, a steep jaw angle, or untreated gum disease.
