Who can take part

  • You are 60 years old or older
  • You have chronic axonal length-dependent polyneuropathy and/or small-fiber neuropathy (nerve damage affecting sensation and/or pain)
  • Your nerve problem has no well-defined cause yet
  • You do not already have a known reason for your neuropathy
  • Your type of neuropathy matches chronic axonal length-dependent polyneuropathy or small-fiber neuropathy (not another type)
  • You can give written informed consent to join the study
