Who can take part

  • You must be 65 years or older, or between 50 and 64 if you have a family history of ATTR amyloidosis or a known genetic variant.
  • You must have a medical need for a pacemaker, ICD, or CRT device.
  • You must have at least one of a list of conditions, including certain heart rhythm problems, heart failure, thickened heart muscle, unexplained kidney issues, nerve pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendon rupture, or other related findings.
  • You cannot participate if you are pregnant or unable to give informed consent.
