Hydroxychloroquine plus CDK4/6 medicine for advanced solid tumors

Inhibition of Autophagy Synergizes Anti-tumor Effect

Part of Cancer clinical trials.

This trial tests whether adding hydroxychloroquine (a medicine that affects a cell recycling process called autophagy) can boost the anti-cancer effect of high-dose CDK4/6 inhibitor treatment in advanced solid tumors. It may help tumors respond better after prior CDK4/6 treatments have stopped working.
