Who can take part
- You’re between 40 and 75 years old and need cataract surgery in both eyes.
- Your current vision with glasses is worse than 20/30, and your surgeon thinks you can reach 20/25 or better after surgery in each eye.
- Your eye surface (cornea) must be fairly regular, with low astigmatism (less than 0.75).
- Your eye measurements (including lens power) must fall within the study’s available lens power range (+16 to +24).
- You must not have had prior corneal or inside-eye surgery, and you must not have certain cornea/eye inflammation or structural problems.
- You can’t want monovision, and you generally can’t have dry-eye treatments (other than artificial tears) or medications that affect vision or pupil size.
