Who can take part
- You are scheduled for surgery to remove a spinal cord tumor
- You can have the MRE scan and tolerate it during the test
- You must be able to give informed consent
- You should not have metal in your body (like pacemakers or metal implants) or items that can’t be removed
- You should not be in the first three months of pregnancy
- You should not have severe claustrophobia/anxiety or severe fever
