Who can take part

  • Be between 50 and 75 years old
  • Have kidney failure at stage 5 and be on regular (chronic) dialysis
  • Have been dependent on dialysis for at least 3 months
  • Be able to follow simple instructions in English and understand the study
  • Be able to have an MRI scan safely (no serious MRI contraindications like severe claustrophobia or certain implants)
